I'm Jay Creighton, long-time proponent of tiny, small, and "right-sized" homes, renewable energy, and sustainable practices.  The mission of this blog is to share information, designs, and inspiration related to smaller homes and sustainable living.    

My background includes a master's degree in biology,  a decade as an architectural draftsman, two more as a science teacher, and a few rock bands.  My most recent interesting job was at the Golisano Institute for Sustainability.
